Keith gained his EITB technical apprenticeship whilst serving as a civilian with the R.E.M.E.  He subsequently worked in a supervisory capacity for a major precision manufacturer for 16 years.  The last 13 ½ years have been spent working for a major automated welding systems manufacturer.

Keith states "Quality of service and reliability is paramount in the production of machines and tooling to eliminate downtime".

Director Andrew Kennedy, Electrical Control Systems Engineer

Andrew Qualified from Nottingham Trent University with HNC in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.  With 3 Years experience working for a control system integrator within water/steel/power industries.  12 years within the Automation industry designing and commissioning special purpose machines including laser marking and cutting machines.

Andrews vast array of knowledge and experience lies primarily within major control systems and CNC systems.

Managing Director Mark Paterson, Product Support Technician

A time served electrical / electronic engineer, Mark has worked within the electrical industry since leaving education starting out as an installation contractor and eventually moving into the manufacturing sector.  During the 1990's Mark worked within the service department for a group of companies providing on-site support to the majority of customers that used and had purchased their equipment.  Providing an excellent and reliable back-up service paved the way for the foundations of Pentangle Engineering, where ever Mark went, the customers followed.

Mark states "We take great pride in looking after our customers, after all we are only as good as the services we provide and if we want to retain our customers and maintain steady growth we must always remain focused on our operating strategy".

Director Kevin Meakins, Mechanical Systems & Tooling Designer

Kevin served his EITB apprenticeship as a jig and tool designer where he achieved a HNC in mechanical and production engineering.  Kevin has spent the last 20 years heavily involved in the design of bespoke dedicated and robotic welding systems, coupled with component manipulation.  This has been primarily for household names within the automotive and white goods industries.  His vast array of knowledge and lateral thinking enables the team of engineers at Pentangle Engineering to formulate a cost effective solution to an array of customer needs.

Director Nigel Rivers, Mechanical Systems & Tooling Engineer

Nigel served his EITB apprenticeship over 4 years and has worked within the production environment for 10 years, as experienced CNC programmer, setter and operative working primarily for the Ministry Of Defence.  Nigel has spent the last 15 years within a machine manufacturing company as an experienced leading design engineer and project manager.

Director Tom Tyndall, Laser Systems Engineer

Tom gained a BTEC in Aerospace Electronics while in the RAF, after 17 years he left to take up a supervisory position with a leading Aircraft Simulator Manufacturer. For the last 7 years he has worked for a Laser Systems Manufacturer on both marking and cutting Lasers. He joined PENTANGLE ENGINEERING SERVICES Ltd in December 2006.
